About
An Ngãi Đông parish is in the Hòa Sơn area, about 18 km west of central Đà Nẵng towards Bà Nà. It is entrusted to the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament (SSS) and serves as the diocese's pastoral centre for migrants.
History
It began around 1935 as a filial community of An Ngãi, became a separate filial community in 2008, and was established as a parish on 8 September 2013 under the patronage of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The new church was inaugurated on 10 June 2019.
